Mr. Kayama's specialty is in the electric and electronic field. He has widespread experience in patent prosecution and appeal cases, including cases relating to image processing, digital broad casting, telecommunications, speech recognition, mechatronics. He had training to study U.S. patent and trademark practice at an IP firm in Washington, D.C. for about a year from 1988 to 1989. During the training, he attended the US Patent and Trademark Office Patent Academy and various seminars on US patent and trademark held by US IP firms.
Biography
Graduated from Department of Electrical Engineering in Kobe City College of Technology in 1974, and Kansai University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems Management Engineering in 1978. After working for Kishimoto Einosuke Patent Office for several years, he established Kayama Patent Office in 1989, and joined in our firm in January 2008. |
